ఈ–పాస్‌ వెబ్‌సైట్‌ ద్వారా దరఖాస్తులు

అర్హులందరికీ మంజూరు చేసేలా భారీ బడ్జెట్‌ కేటాయింపు

ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుకుంటున్న ఎస్సీ విద్యార్థులకు శుభవార్త. 5వ తరగతి నుంచి 10వ తరగతి పిల్లలకు ఎస్సీ అభివృద్ధి శాఖ ఉపకారవేతనాలు అందించేందుకు దరఖాస్తులను స్వీకరిస్తోంది. ప్రీ–మెట్రిక్‌ విద్యార్థుల ఉపకార వేతనాల కోసం ఆ శాఖ 2017–18 వార్షిక సంవత్సరానికి రూ.41 కోట్లు కేటాయించింది. విద్యార్థుల సంఖ్యతో సంబంధం లేకుండా అర్హులైన వారందరికీ ఉపకార వేతనాలు ఇవ్వాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది.

ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో దరఖాస్తులు:ప్రస్తుతం కాలేజీ విద్యార్థుల ఉపకారవేతనాల దరఖాస్తు మాదిరిగానే పాఠశాల విద్యార్థుల దరఖాస్తులను కూడా ఈ–పాస్‌ వెబ్‌సైట్‌ నుంచే స్వీకరిస్తోంది. 2017–18 విద్యాసంవత్సరానికి సంబంధించి దరఖాస్తు ప్రక్రియ ఇప్పటికే ప్రారంభించింది. దరఖాస్తుపై విద్యార్థులకు పెద్దగా అవగాహన లేకపోవడంతో కీలక బాధ్యత ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులపైనే ఉంది. *ప్రభుత్వ, ఎయిడెడ్‌ పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుతూ.. తల్లిదండ్రుల వార్షికాదాయం రూ.2లక్షల లోపు ఉన్నవారు మాత్రమే అర్హులు*.

విద్యార్థులు ముందుగా ఈ–పాస్‌ వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో వివరాలు నమోదు చేసుకోవాలి. అలా నమోదు చేసి, సబ్మిట్‌ చేసిన దరఖాస్తును ప్రింట్‌అవుట్‌ తీసి వాటికి కుల, ఆదాయ ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రాలను జత చేసి డివిజన్‌ సంక్షేమాధికారికి సమర్పించాలి. అలా వచ్చిన దరఖాస్తులు డివిజన్‌ సంక్షేమాధికారి పరిశీలించి ఉపకారవేతన మంజూరు కోసం జిల్లా సంక్షేమాధికారికి సిఫార్సు చేయాలి. వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో వివరాల నమోదు, ప్రింట్‌అవుట్‌లను సంక్షేమాధికారులకు సమర్పించే బాధ్యతను ఉపాధ్యాయులు నిర్వహిస్తే లబ్ధిదారులకు ఉపకార మవుతుందని అధికారులు చెబుతున్నారు.

*రూ. 20 కోట్లు విడుదల..*

ప్రీ–మెట్రిక్‌ కేటగిరీ కింద 5 నుంచి 10వ తరగతి వరకు ఇస్తున్న ఉపకారవేతనాలకు సంబంధించి ఎస్సీ అభివృద్ధి శాఖ రూ.20 కోట్లు విడుదల చేసింది. దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్న వెంటనే పరిశీలన పూర్తిచేసి ఉపకారవేతనాలిచ్చేలా చర్యలు చేపట్టింది. అంతేకాకుండా గత రెండేళ్ల కింద ప్రీ–మెట్రిక్‌ స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ కింద దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్న విద్యార్థులకు సంబంధించిన బకాయిలు సైతం ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించింది.
